Senmaida in Yotsuya spreads on the southwest slope of Mt. Kurakake.The rice terraces spread from around 220m above sea level to 420m above the summit of Kurakake, and the difference in altitude is about 200m.The water that springs up from the middle of Mt. Kurakake is 20 liters per second.Masonry canals and transparent clear water flow as Misawa, moistening the terraced rice fields.The wonderful sight will ease the hearts of visitors.
It is about a 1 minute walk from the parking lot to the place where the above picture is taken.It is a wonderful view of Senmaida.Senmaida is in its present form due to the great efforts of the local people.You can also see the scenery from the top of the rice terraces.There were also handmade unique Sakaeko in some places, which was fun.
Ryukaikyo is a 4km-long canyon located further inland than Horaikyo and is a nationally designated scenic spot and natural monument.The beautiful scenery of Tani and strange rocks will impress visitors.
The picture above is about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot. In the photo, the water depth is hard to understand and it seems to be shallow, but it seems to be about 1 m 50 cm. Before, when I visited in the summer, there were people swimming and children playing in the water. The highly transparent emerald green water color is very beautiful. The scenery is soothing and refreshing.
The picture above is the scenery seen from the cave of the Ryukyukyo.It is a wonderful view as if you are looking through it from the frame.I have been to shoot a few times, but this time it was raining so it was fantastic because of the fog.It takes a little physical strength to reach this cave, as it climbs the steep stairs shown in the lower part of the photo.Many Kannons were enshrined in the cave.
Korankei is the valley of Tomoegawa in the central part of Toyota City in the northern part of Aichi Prefecture.Near the confluence of Tomoe and Asuke rivers, it is known as a famous place for autumn colors.The autumn leaves season is overwhelming with about 4,000 trees dyed in yellow and crimson.You can enjoy many shops such as food at the time of autumnal illumination.
The daytime scenery is also wonderful, but the light up makes the entire mountain dye orange, and you will be impressed by the fantastic scenery.It’s very busy during the light-up period each year.
The above photo was taken during the blue hour before sunset.The vividly dyed trees are beautiful.I was shooting in Kawara and the wind was strong, and it was cold enough to hurt my legs even in November.Warm clothing is recommended for sightseeing during the autumn season of Korankei.
A spot where you can enjoy cherry blossoms and autumn leaves at the same time
In the Ohara district, the pretty four seasons of cherry blossoms and autumn leaves fill the mountains.The contrast between the gentle pink seasonal cherry blossoms and the brightly colored autumn leaves is wonderful.
“Okuyamada’s Weeping Cherry Blossom” is a 1300-year-old Ed Higan in Okazaki City and is designated as a natural monument of the city.The cherry blossoms that bloom from the height of 17m attract visitors.A very big and powerful beautiful weeping cherry tree.In full bloom season, it is very fantastic to light up at night.
In summer-fired Jogayama, located in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, a flower of the Amaryllidaceae known as “Okitsuneno Razor” blooms from mid to late August.If you walk about 600m on the mountain road, you can see a beautiful scene like an orange carpet.
The above picture is the scenery of the flower field of the foxtail razor.Since the rope is stretched around the colony, it looks like it is seen from the outside.Please note that flowers have poison, as in the case of Limulus.
At Hiedagawa in Takahama, Aichi, you can see colorful cluster amaryllis such as red, yellow, pink, and white.It seems that the colors of the blooming flowers change depending on the weather and other conditions of the year, and basically yellow is the main color.
When I visited in , many pretty pink flowers were blooming.
