Shibutoge is a pass between Mt. Shirane and Mt. Yokote. The altitude is 2,172m.The scenery seen from Shibutoge during the fall foliage is very beautiful with the colors like a painting.Depending on the weather conditions, the sea of clouds may occur early in the morning, and the magnificent view will spread.
The above picture is Shibutoge at the time of autumn colors. It looks down from a high position, so the trees look small and are pretty. The colorful color was very beautiful.
“Sensen Falls” is a waterfall located near Kusatsu Onsen in Gunma Prefecture.Red rocks and pure white splashes appearing in the rich greenery. It’s very beautiful.
The picture above has a strong flow of water because I visited for shooting on a rainy day.It usually looks like a more gentle flow.It takes a walk like a mountain path to the waterfall, so you need physical strength and shoes that are easy to walk are recommended.I was a little nervous because there was a bear bell and others along the way.
Mysterious moss growing in the splash of mineral springs
Chatsubomigoke is a kind of moss.Chatsubomigoke Park is located 10 km north of Kusatsu Onsen, Gunma Prefecture. In this place where strong acid mineral springs spring up, there are extremely rare acid moss, which is extremely rare in the world. It is unfolded as “hole hell”, one of the largest hordes of cloth in Japan.
* Because it grows in a rocky place where a strongly acidic hot spring flows, it smells like a sulfur spring in some places.Admission is 600 yen.It is closed in winter.
The moss in the picture above is a moss.Moss that can withstand strong acidity. It was very strong. It was a little creepy with its bright green color, but I was impressed by the scenery that can only be seen here.
Kakumanbuchi is a marshland in Gunma prefecture with a circumference of about 800 m.Once upon a time it was a lake.It is a treasure trove of alpine plants and is also called “SmallOze”. The name “Kakumanbuchi” was derived from the fact that the high priest, Kakuman, of the Hieizan Enryakuji Temple held a ritual here.
Fukiware-no-taki is a waterfall that is also called the Niagara of the East in Numata City, Gunma Prefecture. The head is 7m and the width is 30m. It was named because the water splashes from a waterfall in the Tone River system seem to flow like breaking a river bed.
Oze is a marshland where you can see precious plants such as sphagnum moss and sphagnum mosquito over 4 prefectures, Gunma prefecture, Fukushima prefecture, Tochigi prefecture, and Niigata prefecture.
The central Ozegahara is believed to have been formed about 10,000 years ago and has been selected as one of the Oze National Park and the 100 most scenic spots in Japan.
