厳冬期・雪景色の絶景登山! 西穂独標(北アルプス西穂高岳)

北アルプス西穂独標(にしほどっぴょう)

「独標」は、険しい岩稜で知られる穂高連峰の西穂高岳南西に位置し、その一番末端にある岩峰です。標高2,701mの山頂からは笠ヶ岳、穂高連峰、焼岳、上高地などすばらしい展望が望めます。登山口付近の2,156mまでは、ロープウェイで上がれます。ロープウェイで移動中の風景も絶景です。独標付近は急な岩場で危険なため、注意が必要です。　

“Doppyo” is located at the southwest of Mt. Hodaka Takadake, which is known for its steep rocky ridges, and is the end of the mountain. From the summit of 2,701m above sea level, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Mt. Kasaga, Hodaka Mountain Range, Yakedake, Kamikochi. You can go up to the ropeway up to 2,156m near the trailhead. The scenery on the ropeway is also superb. Be careful because the area around Doppyo is steep and dangerous.

遠くに見えるのは、石川県の「霊峰白山」。かなり離れた場所ですが、迫力ある風景に見とれてしまいました。

In the distance you can see “Sacred Mountain Hakusan” in Ishikawa Prefecture. It’s a very remote place, but I was fascinated by the powerful scenery.

登山道脇の雪景色です。こちら側の景色は、ケーキの上のホイップクリームのようにも見えて可愛らしい風景です。

It is a snowy landscape beside the mountain trail. The view on this side looks like a whipped cream on the cake and is a lovely scenery.

今回の目的地の風景が見えてきました。一番右側の岩場が今回目指す「独標」です。ちなみに右側から2番目の尖っている岩場が「ピラミットピーク」。見るからに鋭い角度の斜面です。登山も「独標」とは比べ物にならない位、難易度が高いようです。

By the way, the second sharp rock from the right is “Pyramit Peak”. It is a slope with a sharp angle to see. Mountain climbing seems to be more difficult and difficult than “Doppyo”.

上の写真は、右の方に登山者の方の列できています。ツアーの方でしょうか。等間隔できっちり揃っていて綺麗です。絵になる風景でした。この辺りの雪はサラサラしていて一歩進む事に足が20cmくらい潜ってしまいます。残っている足跡を頼りに進んでいく感じです。転んでもフカフカで痛くはありませんが、よく滑ります。はじめて踏む雪の感覚も不思議な感じがしました。

The snow around here is dry and as you go one step, your feet will dive by about 20 cm. It feels like going forward, relying on the remaining footprints. It doesn’t fluffy when it falls, but it slips a lot. The feeling of the first step on the snow felt strange.

登山中、後ろを振り返ると上高地の大正池から良く見た、活火山「焼岳」が見えました。

真っ白です。

While climbing, looking back, I could see the active volcano “Yakedake” that I saw well from the Taisho pond in Kamikochi.

It is pure white.

上の写真は、上高地です。真ん中を流れているのは、有名な「梓川」。観光シーズンは、色鮮やかな風景の上高地も、冬は白銀の世界でした。

The above photo is Kamikochi. The famous “Azusa River” is flowing in the middle. In the tourist season, the colorful landscape of Kamikochi was also white in the winter.

上高地に行く度に遠くから眺めていた穂高連邦。この日は、その穂高連邦から上高地を見下ろしていて、なんだか感動しました。

The Hotaka federation that I looked at from a distance every time I went to Kamikochi. On that day, I was overwhelmed by the view of Kamikochi from the Hotaka Federation.

ここを登り切ったら目的地「独標」です。この時は、アイスバーンになっている箇所はまだありませんでした。登る途中で下を見ると、急斜面で怖かったです。

If you climb up here, you will reach the destination “Solo Mark”. At this time, there were no ice bans yet. When I looked down while climbing, I was scared on the steep slope.

「独標」から見える「ピラミットピーク」の風景。人が登っていますが、見ているだけで怖いのでちょっと信じられません。凄いです。

上の写真は「独標」から見える穂高連邦の風景です。西穂本峰、奥穂へと続く岩稜、とても荒々しい岩場が続いています。

ずっと憧れていた雪山登山。感動しました。青空に真っ白な世界は、素晴らしかったです。

The snow mountain climbing I have always admired. I was impressed. The white world in the blue sky was wonderful.
